On a scale from 1-10 how excited are you for the launch of Apple’s Vision Pro headset?

That’s what I thought.
Don’t get my wrong, I love the “idea” of an AR/VR headset, and if anyone is going to do it right it’s Apple, but without a killer app out there what’s there to convince people to shell out $3,500 just so they can set at home wearing one of these headsets when they could just experience the same thing on their computer or TV.
And before you peg me as some kind of headset Luddite I’ll have you know my family was gifted a Meta Quest 2 headset 2 years ago, and it sits unused after the initial excitement.
Apple is bringing this 1st new product to market since they introduced the Apple Watch in 2014. For this 1st edition of the Apple’s Vision Pro headset Apple will only be able to produce between 60,000-80,000 units for the release Feb. 2, 2024 launch due to supply chain challenges.
As for whether Apple’s Vision Pro headset will sell out? Yea, probably!
