You know that super cool looking mini Space Shuttle that NASA designed years ago called Dream Chaser, but never built? Well a company called Sierra Space licensed it from NASA, and they’ve built the first prototype of Dream Chaser that they hope to launch in 2024. The company just raised $290M at a $5.3B valuation, so things are getting serious. To date they’ve raised $1.7 Billion, and they’ve been putting that money to work as they partner with Jeff Bezo’s space company Blue Origin to work on the “Orbital Reef” project for NASA.
