You know that super cool looking mini Space Shuttle that NASA designed years ago called Dream Chaser, but never built? Well a company called Sierra Space licensed it from NASA, and they’ve built the first prototype of Dream Chaser that they hope to launch in 2024. The company just raised $290M at a $5.3B valuation, so things are getting serious. To date they’ve raised $1.7 Billion, and they’ve been putting that money to work as they partner with Jeff Bezo’s space company Blue Origin to work on the “Orbital Reef” project for NASA. Told you they were busy!
