FROM THE EDITOR

Well, it’s the day after Election Day, and half the U.S. is happy, and for the other half it’s just another Wednesday….which means its time for us all to come together and enjoy the latest edition of the irl Media NEWS newsletter!

(see how I glossed over Politics to focus on something more interesting like Business?)

Love him or hate him, Pete Davidson is an interesting guy who’s never boring. His unique jail-house style tattoos coving most of his body have defined him until now, but he’s changing that, and with it the perception of him in Hollywood as an actor. He’s embarked on the process of laser removal to get rid of the tattoos on his arms to start, and we’ll have to see where it goes from there. Read my article below Is Pete Davidson Getting Rid Of ALL His Tattoos? to learn more.

And lastly, regardless of whether you’re feeling happy this morning or if you hit the snooze button and plan to sleep through the next 4-years, I wrote about everyone’s favorite Ryan Reynolds and the Wrexham AFC empire he’s building with his partner Rob McElhenney in an article entitled Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney Expand Wrexham AFC Empire (creative title, right?)

Enjoy!

Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney Expand Wrexham AFC Empire

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, co-owners of the Wrexham AFC soccer team in Wales, UK, recently made a strategic move to sell a minority stake in the club to the wealthy Allyn family from Upstate New York, a partnership that has already begun to pay dividends in both capital and resources. The Allyns, known for their extensive business success and significant financial backing, bring expertise and resources that align perfectly with the duo’s vision for Wrexham AFC. The Allyn family made their fortune with Welch Allyn, a medical device company that they sold for over $2 billion dollars in 2015, which established the family as a prominent business force. This alliance will help Wrexham AFC as it seeks to progress through the ranks of English football, aiming to climb higher in the competitive leagues to the ultimate prize – the Premier League. By securing these influential partners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have bolstered the club’s ability to attract investment and compete more effectively on a broader stage. Read More

Is Pete Davidson Getting Rid Of ALL His Tattoos?

In a bold career-driven decision, Pete Davidson has begun removing many of his iconic tattoos using laser treatments. Known for his eclectic mix of body art, Pete Davidson has long used tattoos as a form of self-expression, covering his arms with ink that reflects his personality, humor, and life experiences. However, as his acting career has grown, so too have the challenges posed by his extensive tattoos – particularly in film roles, where covering them up with makeup reportedly took up to three hours per day. By removing most of the tattoos on his arms, Pete Davidson is trying to position himself for wider range of roles, especially as he transitions into more serious acting projects. This tattoo-free transformation could be key in reshaping his image and opening new doors in Hollywood. Read More
